About
Asaf Slook is known for his work in generative art, and his deep exploration of visual outputs through coding.
Asaf's journey into the generative art scene began in his role as a front-end engineer, where he was focused on developing digital user interfaces. During this time, he came across Daniel Shiffman's videos, which sparked his interest in creative coding. Inspired by Shiffman's work, Asaf began exploring the generative art space more deeply.
His fascination grew as he discovered the incredible works of artists on platforms like Art Blocks and fxhash. Their innovative approaches to generative art significantly influenced his own creative direction.
Slook has created several collections, such as Apollo, inspired by Orphism and the works of Robert and Sonia Delaunay, and Backwards, which explores themes of memory and creativity.
